DOLBY PRO LOGIC and DOLBY 3 STEREO can be used when

playing video or LD software bearing the I x II«mvcmmouMel

mark. DSP modes can be used with any source.

Be sure to complete "Preparing for surround sound" before

using any of these surround modes.

Preparations

•Turn ON related components.

• Complete "Preparing for surround

sound".

• Set the INPUT SELECTOR to the

component you wish to play back

with surround sound.

Select a surround mode.

I he surround mode settings are stored separately for each

input.

: Keys or controls to oe used in this operation

STEREO : Cancels surround playback.

PRO LOGIC : Eelecta the DOLDY PHO LOGIC mode.

3-STEREO : Selects the DOLBY 3 STEREO mode.

DSP: Selectsthe DSP mode. Each press changes the DSP mode

as follows:

“ARENA" : Gimulates the presence of en indoor ooncert arena,

"JAZZ CLUB" : Simulates the presence of a jazz club.

"STADIUM" : Simulates the presence of an outdoor stadium.

Start playing the video software.

Adjust the volume.
